Tie your heels up for the series of sequels for the year 2011 as IANS, New Delhi reports that 2011 will see a release of all the much awaited sequels like 'Race 2', 'Dhoom 3', 'Wanted 2', 'Partner 2' and 'Don 2'.
Race 2:
Like the prequel Race 2 will be starring Anil Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan and as the main leads. Bipasha Basu is not in the sequel, it is reported that she has been replaced by Kareena Kapoor as Saif’s love interest. Katrina Kaif also isn’t a part of sequel, she was killed anyways in the prequel, but we will have Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone as the new faces in the sequel, however, none of replacements are finalised. Like the 2008 hit version this is also being directed by Abbas Mustan and produced under Tips Film Banner.
Partner 2:
The 2007 hit will be back will the sequel with the same cast as earlier, i.e., Salman Khan, Lara Dutta and Govinda as the lead roles. But reports also state that Deepika Padukone has replaced Katrina Kaif.
Wanted 2:
The remake of the Tamil flick Pokiri, “Wanted” starring Salman Khan and Ayesha Takia is on its way for the second part. Again it will be produced by Boney Kapoor. Reports reveal that a new face has
replaced Ayesha Takia.
Dhoom 3:
What do we call it a “Triquel”? After a gap of five years Dhoom 3 is on its way to create the magic once again. This is will directed by Aditya Chopra himself and will have certain alterations in the cast. The news that Shah Rukh Khan is a part of the movie has spread all around the globe. But the present news also says that SRK is not the only Khan in the movie, Probably we will have Aamir Khan as the cop. “Clash of the Titans?” our wait will give the answer.
Don 2:
And at the end of the year, probably Diwali will have Don 2 coming up. Priyanka Chopra remains as the main lead opposite SRK. Don 2 is reported to begin from where Don ended.
But do not hurry as this is the schedule for the year 2011. Guess sequels are the only desserts on the plate for the year 2011 or perhaps they will turn to be the leftovers. Let’s wait and watch.
